MITSUBISHI COLT

About new colt:

Although its Japanese introduction was in October of 2002, the Mitsubishi Colt is a completely new vehicle for the rest of the world. The Colt, a name that once graced the compact vehicle in Dodge/Eagle's lineup in the '80s and '90s has been brought back to life. In recent years, Mitsubishi's smallest car, the Mirage/Colt was simply a chopped hatchback version of the aged Lancer sedan, however with the decision to introduce a completely new car in association with Daimler-Chrysler, the Colt is a completely new car from the wheels up. Mitsu's small car will be sold under two names: Colt will represent the family-based five-door hatchback variant, while a smaller three-door hatchback will go by the name of CZ3, picked up from the hot concept car of last year.
In a segment where size truly does matter, Mitsubishi have applied a smart design to the Colt to increase interior volume and room while cutting back on exterior size. The five-door hatch measures in with a length of 3870 mm, a width of 1680 mm, a height of 1550 mm and a wheelbase of 2500 mm - larger in nearly all dimensions than the class leader, the Honda Jazz or the Volkswagen Polo. With slightly larger dimensions, the Colt is expected to edge out the competition in cabin room and passenger comfort. However, just because it's larger than the segment it's been allotted to does not mean that the Colt is physically larger. At over 100 mm smaller than the Colt/Mirage that it replaces, there is a clear separation between the two generations of compact hatchback as it targets the B-segment instead of the C-Segment: A wise choice on Mitsubishi's part.
From an aesthetical standpoint, the Mitsubishi Colt is a step forwards for the look of the brand. Prior to the American restructuring which included the introduction of wildly styled sport utilities, sedans and sports coupés, the rest of the world dealt with mundane looking vehicles such as the Space Star and Galant. The Colt is a breath of fresh air, drawing from many European 'monobox' cars. Styling has also been kept sharp but not cluttered, keeping elements such as the headlights, the narrow nosed grille and the vertically-stretched tail lights from the performance CZ-series concept cars. Mitsubishi stylist Oliver Boulay commented on the CZ3 3-door hatchback as being a means of 'demonstrating the depth and bredth of the New Colt design, being much more than just a Colt five-door minus two doors.' We've yet to see, but considering it's been pitched as a three-door coupé, there's no doubt it'll be sporty.
Being a Daimler-Chrysler product, there's a lot more to the Colt than what appears on the surface. The chassis of the new compact Mitsu shares its genes with Smart's up and coming ForFour family vehicle. Both will use a suspension layout, which is comprised of struts in front, and a torsion beam in back. The engines that have been selected for sales in Europe consist of three gasoline engines - a 1.1, 1.3, and 1.5 liter inline-four. Each of these motors will receive variable valve timing and dual overhead camshafts. For the European market, the Colt will receive a 1.5 liter common-rail turbodiesel engine supplied by DaimlerChrysler. So far, a manual and automatic transmission has been announced for these engines, however, we wonder if Mitsubishi will bring over their CVT transmission, which they have equipped the Colt with in Japan and Asian markets.
The interior of the Colt is a radical departure from the Mitsubishi norm. What you get in the new compact car is fresh, clean and very stylish. Features such as a waterfall style dashboard are quite clever in bringing an airy feel, while the dashboard itself has been crafted from plastic in two separate colours and textures: very unique in a car this size. Sporty instrumentation with three separate pods works hand in hand with the thick, three-spoke steering wheel and circular ventilation pods. The back seat on the Colt is rather versatile - the bench, split in two (60/40) rides on rails. It can slide back and forth, recline, fold completely flat as well as be removed. Equipment levels are actually rather impressive - most models come equipped with such features as a cooled glove box, and an in-dash CD changer. There are 12-volt power outlets located around the car as well. Stylish, comfortable and practical, the interior of the Colt will be a big selling point.

Aku tolak dari Paka - Tg.Malim..
Sorang² diri... Pkl 11.30 am tolak...
Lalu Genting.... Aku mula tu tak yakin gak...ni first time ke Tg.Malim drive sorang² diri.. On the way singgah Kemaman jap beli kepok lekor....dan kepok keping...sebagai buah tangan ke Tg.Malim...
4 jam perjalanan aku sampai...perjalanan sejauh 450km.

ni kat Kuantan...lalu jalan bypass..

dah menuruni bukit genting dah ni.....

satu satunye balai polis yang kaler pink kat Malaysia....

30 km sebelum sampai Tg.Malim....aku msg Kay...
Aku call Amy member baru geng Terato.com. Amy cakap terus ke UPSI...tunggu dia kat depan UPSI...

Minum ngan Amy...sembang² topik keta...langsung melarat hingga ke workshop keta kat Behrang...tengok keta member dia transplant GSR....
Masa tu Kay on the way dari K.Kubu Baru...

Pkl 5.30 ptg kami pon beredar dari woksop... Aku terus ke umah Kay...
Marah Kay kat aku.. Katanye aku tipu.... cakap nak datang ngan bas lah...lori MOX lah..rupenye datang ngan Satria 638... Patut lah tak risau langsung nak gerak kemana mana...
Ape tak marahnye...seminggu planning nak ke Tg.Malim....seminggu lah dia kena tipu...

Sembang kejap....sambil² minum milo...makan kepok lekor yang Kay goreng...hujan turun...lebat pulak... Yeng ngan Zana kluar pegi pekan..belikan tiket nak ke KL esok.... Basah kuyup mereka sampai umah...sian...

Pkl 7:00 pm aku pon beredar ke rumah Meor.. Kay siap bagi towel, selimut bantal b esar dan bantal kecik..ade tulih "brother Bear".. Mandi...rehat..janji 9:30 pm ngan Kay nak pegi dinner...
Ingatkan candle light dinner..mane lah nak dapat kat Tg.Malim..

Kami makan kat Restoran Rakyat dkt kolej KEHA.

Siakap masak 3 rasa... (Besarnye ikan...kate Kay...abis tak nih....)

Sambil makan layan muvie Bujang Senang...cerita dengan lawak Apek yg budus tuh bisa menbuatkan semua yg makan kat situ suke berdekah dekah hingga tersembur air... mereka lah..aku tak.. Tangan pun sama naik ngan suap nasik main msg....bagitau Madi yg aku ade kat Rakyat...jap lagi lepas makan kami nak jumpa dia...

Abes..ikan...
Lapa giler...hari tuh tak makan nasi lagi..sepanjang perjalanan siang tadi...alas perut ngan roti jek...rase cam buke pose jek..

Balik jumpe Madi ngan Efah kat depan kolej KEHA..sembang lame boleh tahan...sehinggakan Pok Guard kat situ siap jeling²...dah pukul 12:00...kena kuar dari kawasan kolej..

Pukul 12:30 kat umah Kay dah...
Sembang² jap...balik umah Meor..Sebelum balik sempat bagi baju ngan sluar kotor nak Kay basuh... Kena tido awal...esok pkl 9:30 nak kuar dah...janji nak brekpas ngan Kay kat pekan Tg.Malim... Lepas tuh ke KL pkul 11:00....Pkl 1:30 am aku dah lelapkan mata....

6:30 am henset aku berbunyi...Kay kejut... Hello....dah bgun... Dah..Bee nak bangun dah nih... Adussss...sejuk gile.. Aku ingat suhu waktu pagi kat Taman Bernam mencecah 18°C...liat jek rase nak bangun.... Namun gagah kan diri... Ingat lepas subuh nak tido balik...tapi mata dah tak leh lena lah.....

Menghabiskan masa...main game... Pkl 9:00 pg aku dah siap²...janji nak amek Kay pkl 9:30 pg...dekat jek umah Meor ngan umah Kay...6 minit je dah sampai..

Sampai pekan Tg.Malim....penuh pulak parking...dah...3...4 kali pusing carik parking..turunkan Yeng, Zana dan Shima dulu...sbb bas mereka pkl 10:00 pg... Dah jumpe parking beli pulak kupon...rm2.00. Nak parking sampai petang....

Dah parking brekpas...kedai yang sama brekpas waktu last year datang....genap setahun... Dah brekpas maka aksi seterusnye ialah....aksi menunggu...menunggu bas...ke KL naik bas....save skit....lagi pon tak serabut kepala ngan jem....

Loyat...Sungei Wang...Pizza...Giordano.....

Las sekali jumpe member aku kat Pizza deret LOT 10 tu...Razor... punye lah susah nak jumpe..kawan hanye dalam tepon jek...3 tahun baru jumpe..dia belanja aku tambang bas ke Hentian Pudu.... Pkl 7:00 ptg bas balik ke Tg.Malim....

Boleh tahan jalan...malam baru sampai Tg.Malim... yang tensen nye...turun je bas..tgok kat parking keta...alamak...pasar malam... Buruk le aku nunggu depa tutup gerai baru dapat kuar keta.... Abih seluruh pasar malam aku ngan Kay jelajah sementara tunggu tutup gerai...akak tu cakap pukul 10 atau 11... nak buat cam ne...tunggu je lah...

Lewat sampai umah...hampir pkul 11:00 mlm....ckap kat Kay lapa.....nak dia teman kan makan jap lagi... Aku balik umah Meor...mandi siap²....tetiba rase penat semacam jek... Malas lah pulak...seharian duk KL.... Msg Kay ckp tak jadi kuar... Tapi lapa gak... Langsung ajak member umah Meor turun kedai bawah pekena milo ngan roti bakar... Penat gile babas.....1:30 pg tido lena.....

Tersedar dek bunyi tepon Kay kejut 6:40 pg....

Kay ckp pagi brekpas kat umah...pkl 10:30 .....Sebelum tuh dah plan dah nak gi jalan Hot Spring.....nak piknik kat sana... Ok....aku tak tahu nak buat ape...pkl 8:00 pg aku basuh keta...siap basuh keta....mandi... 10:30 pg aku terus ke umah Kay... Ape...... tak siap lagi....nak mandi.... rupenye buat mee goreng....ngan sandwich.

11:30 pg kami pon ke Hot Spring...ikut seperti yang dipetakan oleh Tini... 45 minit dari Taman Bernam sampai simpang Hot Spring tu... Aku melepasi simpang tu dengan hanye jeling jek signboard Hot Spring...dalam hati...ape lah yg ade kat situ...nampak cam takde orang jek...

Kay tanye...lepas tak lagi simpang??? Aku jawab...laaaa lame dah lepas simpang Hot Spring... Dah tu nak gi mane nih??? Soal Kay.. Nak gi Lumut....balas aku.... Ingatkan main² kata Kay... Mane ade main²....sungguh lah nih...

Boleh tahan perjalanan... Pkul 4:00 ptg kami sampai kat Lumut......singgah jap kat Damai Laut...kendian kami ke Teluk Batik...piknik kat sana.... Ya allah...ramainye manusia...nak duduk tak cukup ruang je.....siap beli tikar lagi.....last² dapat gak meja setelah lame menunggu.. Tak leh duk lama² kat Teluk Batik...natikan lewat sangat sampai Tg.Malim....lepas makan mee goreng ngan sandwich dan jeput pisang dan cekodok...kami pon ke Damai Laut kembali....beli sedikit ole² nak buat balik....terlupa nak beli t-shirt kat Teluk Batik... takpe....len kali datang kami beli..

On the way dah janji ngan K.nie (hosmet Kay) jumpe dia...dia dari Kedah...Jumpe kat hentian Tapah. Pkl 9:00 kami dinner same² ngan K.nie...Angah belanje...(tunangnye K.nie)

Dari kiri aku, Kay, Kak Nie dan Angah....kat Hentian Tapah.

Tak lame duk kat situ...lepas makan kami gerak balik ke Tg.Malim...Kami jalan dulu...Angah top up minyak... Janji jumpa kat umah Kay...nak makan durian yg Angah beli...

Lewat Angah ke KL....pkl 1:00 pg jugak baru angah gerak... Aku masih lagi duduk...sayang nak tinggal...esoknye dah nak balik Paka...seday...

Bagi kamera ngan henset kat Kay....suh dia amek terus gamba...senang skit...ye lah..kalo dia windu dapat le dia tengok... he...he..he...

Tinggalkan umah Kay...aku balik kemas² dah barang² aku kat umah Meor...esok dah janji ngan Kay pkl 7:30 pg amek dia...sarapan dulu sebelum balik dan sebelum dia masuk kelas.

Mcam biase Kay kejut sekitar 6:30 pg.... Aku bangun mandi...siap²... Check barang² takut ade yg tertinggal...

Cuaca.....suram...hujan rintik²...seolah olah menandakan kesuyuan ku nak tinggalkan Tg.Malim......Adolaaaa.....

7:30 pg amek Kay...eh....pakai baju kaler same...hitam dan merah.. Mcam janji je...brekpas kat depan UPSI...tak lama pagi tu...lagipon Kay ade kelas pkul 8:00 pg. Masuk UPSi hantar Kay... dan sebelum kuar keta sempat snap last pic... Kay bagi present...present besday.... Thanks.... Kay pesan drive elok²....

Laluan masuk utama UPSI...nak anto Kay gi kelas.

Sempat lagi lagi gambo sebelum Kay kuar keta.

8:30 pagi aku beredar meninggalkan Tg.Malim...

Balik masih gunakan laluan biasa...naik Bukit Genting....LPT - Kuantan - Paka. Cuaca mendung dan gerimis hingga ke Paka. 12:30 tghari sampai Paka dengan selamat. Pkul 3:00 aku masuk keja..

Pergh....satu percutian yang padat...... Aku pasti akan rindu...
